The Unitarian Universalist Church of Manchester welcomes you to our next Sunday Service! August 23rd, our service will start at 10am followed by Fellowship Hour in our basement hall where we share coffee, conversation, and community. Large Print hymnals and Orders of service are available. We also have a hearing loop with three receivers.

Sept 6 Service Notice
Hello! Friendly Admin Tess here with an early notice about the September 6th service. I wanted to get this in several weeks in advance so people can be aware: this service will not have a block for announcements! The style of this service will be slightly different and end in a period of reflection with music before heading downstairs for an optional activity I am planning during Fellowship Hour. If you have an announcement that is important and you need to get it out to the whole church, please send it to the newsletter!
Annual Yard Sale
The Annual UU Manchester Yard Sale is back on Saturday, September 12, 8 am- 2 pm. Please save the date and start putting aside your items to sell. Accepted items include children’s clothes, coats, housewares, books, linens, dishes, games, outdoor items, and more! Please note: We are not accepting adult clothing or shoes this year. Not sure about an item? Email Jess Martin at jessicamartinevents@gmail.com with inquiries. In addition to the Kid’s Lemonade Stand- new this year- they will also be hosting a bake sale and are looking for bakers! The yard sale is a great fundraiser for our church and a lot of fun to be part of, so we hope to see you all there. What’s Up?
Look up, Look down, Look all Around. We need your help. We have a classroom that we would like to make inviting to our older class of children and their teachers. It is 12 ½’ X 14’. Do you have an area rug that would help make this classroom more inviting? It’s going to be chilly in there come winter. Please check that it is in good condition, and free of animal hair. Maybe you have you have some artwork or posters that could cheer up those walls? If you look up in the attic or storage unit up on the hill, could you find one there? Look down at your feet, is there one right there that you would like to change out? Look all around; in that old teenager’s room or online, do you think you can find something to help? Please contact the Religious Exploration Committee Chair, Belinda Nerl (bjnerl@comcast.net) to see if your item could work.
