As you may have heard in the news, PBS & NPR has lost some of it’s funding, and now needs more support from individuals.  I hope you consider being a member.  My experience has been a very positive one.

I have been a member of NHPBS for a few years.  The annual fee of $60 or $5 a month gives me more access to thousands of videos, whenever I want, and because of my tablet, wherever I want.  Also very few commercials!

Members have access to the PBS streaming service called Passport. The selection of series covers many interests.  Some of my favorites are Nova (science) Frontline (investigative reporting) Nature (amazing photography), Masterpiece Theater (Drama like Downton Abby), and American Experience (History). I hope this was helpful.  You can also find previously broadcast episodes of series you may have missed.
