The Unitarian Universalist Church of Manchester welcomes you to our next Sunday service! Sunday July 19th at 10am we will be celebrating our congregational talents with a few poetry readings, musical performances, and demonstrations. Following our service will be our regular coffee and conversation hour in Fellowship Hall. Large print hymnals and orders of service are available! If you need large print materials or a receiver for our hearing loop, please ask our ushers.

Stop The Bleed Training For Committee Members
Monday, July 27th at 6pm, a volunteer from The Elliot Hospital will be giving a Stop The Bleed training to our committee leadership and members. We encourage interested committee members to join in free of charge. We ideally would like a few folks from RE, greeters, ushers, service helpers, and hospitality volunteers to become trained to develop a safety net in case of an emergency. If you have any questions, reach out to the office admin.
Usher Volunteers Welcome!
Our roster of ushers has shifted over the past few months and we would love a few more volunteers for the rotation. Ushering is a fun and easy way to volunteer your time without missing Sunday services. Ushers welcome congregants into the Sanctuary and pass out the Orders of Service, collect our offering and organize it for the collector, and get to help and welcome new visitors. If you are interested n participating, please contact our Membership Chair Cyprus at cyprusuubusiness@gmail.com
Web Design Help Needed!!
Our office administrator has been chugging away at trying to get our new website built, but she is finding it hard to find the time to work on it between all her other duties. If you have any experience with web development or site management, please consider helping out our admin! This is a very big project for her to take on alone, and she needs the help. If you would like to be added to the web design project, please contact her at admin@uumanchester.org
Update to Joys and Sorrows Forms
We’ve made a slight change to our Joys and Sorrows forms. At the bottom of the form is now a checkbox that reads “I DO want my joy or sorrow put in the weekly newsletter.” Our newsletter is a public and easily accessible platform, so if you want your joy/sorrow added to it, you now have a checkbox to cross out. Any J&S that does not have the box checked will be left out of the Flame and Chalice.
