Speaking of Share the Plate, thank you to everyone who completed a survey online or on paper. The winners are: Equality Health Center, Families in Transition, Shephard’s Way, NH Mutual Aid Relief Fund, Manchester Grows, and Manchester True Collaborative. You will see these entities assigned to the months of March through August. Thank you again!
Speaking of surveys, don’t forget to complete your surveys for the Green Team. Every year our Green Team puts out two surveys to gauge our church community’s environmental impact and awareness.
Please keep up your donations as you are able to our collection box of socks and gloves! Shephard’s Way picked up another batch of our donations recently; and with the terrible cold we have been having, I’m sure they are much appreciated.
The Social Responsibility Committee will be working on getting emails out to any interested member of the congregation regarding upcoming bills in the NH Legislature and Senate, as well as issues that warrant calls or emails to your State rep or senator. We have a working group to figure out the best way to make this happen; if you are interested in joining this group on any level of involvement, let Marge Goudreault (24wins@comcast.net)or Parker Prescott (pprescott2@comcast.net) know.
Just a reminder, especially for our newer members, the large composting bin that is outside, next to the side door, is available for all our members to use from their personal compost. The code to access it is 2667, lined up all the way at the top of the padlock.
