I am the Program Manager for the NH Senior Companion Program. We are a federally funded volunteer program that recruits low-income older adults to provide companionship and transportation to frail, homebound older adults in their communities. In turn, our volunteers receive an hourly stipend and mileage reimbursement that does not affect social security, rent etc.
