Join Us! as we sing and pray for immigration justice!

  • Tuesday October 3
  • 9:00 am
  • Norris Cotton Federal Building
  • 275 Chestnut St. Manchester

This month’s vigil will be led by Rev. Kali Fyre.

At the Vigil, members of area religious congregations gather to pray for a halt to all deportations. We join in opening prayers and song, and then move into a Jericho walk – circling the Norris Cotton Building seven times as Joshua did at Jericho. Those who do not wish to walk or cannot stay for the entire vigil gather on the sidewalk near the entrance. Following the walk, we again join in closing prayer and song.

The interfaith prayer vigils have occurred monthly since June of 2017, originally scheduled to align with scheduled appointments that immigrants had with officials of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the federal agency responsible for immigrant detention and deportation.

Please consider joining us for all or part of this important work if you can!!!
