Sunday morning hospitality is an important part of our tradition. It enhances our interaction with one another, to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and some nibbles, adding greatly to our much-needed fellowship. This is a way for all of us to share in the important work of keeping our community together. With our new kitchen, some things in this process have changed. Training and assistance will be provided, to make it easier. We hope everyone who is able will take a turn doing this now and then. It is best to have 2 people to share the hosting; the hosts typically provide the snacks (not required) and milk/cream/non-dairy “milk” for the coffee. The church provides the coffee, sugar, and non-caloric sweeteners. The hosts make the coffee and heat water for tea. Afterwards, they wash any dishes used, put away dishes and supplies, and take home any leftovers, including the milk.
