Holiday Faire 2023 – It takes a village.

We need your help! Building the UU Holiday Faire is a time of fun, giving, sharing and a time when your personal talents and contributions have a direct effect on the success of this traditional fundraiser. Volunteer sign up sheets are located at the back of Fellowship Hall for each of these areas listed below.

Calll upon your inner Elf and join us in making memories and some Ho-Ho-Dough!

TAKE OUT FROZEN FOODS: See Brian Selling for ideas on the most popular foods. You contributions can be dropped off ahead of time to be stored in our freezer until the day of the sale.

GIFT BASKET RAFFLE: Decide upon a theme and then drop off items in a bag labeled with your name and theme of basket at coffee hour any time up through November 19th.

We are also welcoming decorated and lit tabletop trees for the raffle.

Barbara Dagenais is coordinating.

COOKIE WALK BAR: Bakers, bakers, bakers! You know who you are. It’s not too early to start on your dough or cookies to freeze so you are all set to drop off the goods the week of the Faire.  I am also looking for someone who might be willing to spearhead this category .  More specific dates/times to follow.

CRAFT GIFT/DÉCOR TABLE: Do you like making ornaments, hot pads, centerpieces or anything that would make a great holiday/hostess gift.

GENTLY WORN JEWELRY:  we are looking for someone who would like to spearhead this table. we have all the inventory we need, we just need someone to come and help set up.

PLANT SALE: Sylvia Anderson and Jean Stefanik are looking for houseplant or holiday centerpiece contributions. We will gladly accept them on Sunday, November 26th.

We will need assistance as time marches on for other odds & ends prior to the Faire & during the Faire. We plan on starting a soft set up on Thursday, November 30th, with the serious set up on Friday, December 1st so we can be ready to go on Saturday December 2nd.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, but not after 8:00pm, OK?
