We need your help! Building the UU Holiday Faire is a time of fun, giving, sharing and a time when your personal talents and contributions have a direct effect on the success of this traditional fundraiser. Volunteer sign-up sheets are located at the back of Fellowship Hall for each of these areas listed below.
We’re hoping you can take a little extra time in your life to call upon your inner Elf and join us in making memories and some Ho-Ho-Dough!
TAKE OUT FROZEN FOODS: See Brian Selling for ideas on the most popular foods. You contributions can be dropped off ahead of time to be stored in our freezer until the day of the sale.
GIFT BASKET RAFFLE: Decide upon a theme and then drop off items in a bag labeled with your name and theme of basket at coffee hour any time up through November 20th.
We are also welcoming decorated and lit tabletop trees for the raffle.
Barbara Dagenais is coordinating.
COOKIE WALK BAR: Bakers, bakers, bakers! You know who you are. It’s not too early to start on your dough or cookies to freeze so you are all set to drop off the goods the week of the Faire. More specific dates/times to follow.
We are going to offer cookie tins in addition to our traditional bags for purchase, so we appreciate your donation of clean tins any time.
Malia Till is coordinating.
CRAFT GIFT/DÉCOR TABLE: Do you like making ornaments, hot pads, centerpieces or anything that would make a great holiday gift? Dotty Kasinskas would love to have you share your ideas with her. We will take contributions up until Sunday, November 27th.
PLANT SALE: Sylvia Anderson and Jean Stefanik are looking for houseplant or holiday centerpiece contributions. We will gladly accept them on Sunday, November 27th.
We will need assistance as time marches on for other odds & ends prior to the Faire & during the Faire. We plan on starting a soft set up on Thursday, December 1st with the serious set up on Friday, December 2nd so we can be ready to go on Saturday December 3rd.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.
